Anyone interested in cars and boats will be thoroughly fascinated by the wide range of cars (road and racing) on show at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, while maritime enthusiasts are well catered for at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard which features The Mary Rose Museum, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and HMS Alliance. There are four active cruise terminals with a fifth scheduled to open in 2015. Cruise ships from Celebrity Cruises, Cunard, P&O, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean are based in Southampton.

Sports enthusiasts are well catered for in the Southampton region. Southampton Football Club plays in the English Premier League.
