Hispano-Suiza Polska produces some of the Polish aerospace industry’s most advanced components for use in aircraft engines and helicopters – an expansion of the plant in 2009 now extends that range to engine nacelles used in the Airbus family. Meanwhile, another airport neighbour PZL Mielec – the Polish division of United Technologies’ Sikorsky – recently signed a deal for 15 crop sprayer/fire-fighting aircraft with China’s Heilongjiang Province.
