The Buffalo NY area has extensive manufacturing including majors in medical and advanced component manufacturing and a considerable appetite for just-in-time inventory. Toronto is less than two hours trucking distance. The arriving FedEx 727 shown is actually a permanent, retired resident – for fire training.

  • Airport is located adjacent to US Interstate I-90, which runs from Boston all the way to the US Pacific Northwest.  This highway is a major connecting artery to cities like Boston, Rochester, Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago, and Seattle.

The new terminal opened was opened in the late-1990s with an expansion completed in 2000.
